A STEP ABOVE
The White Star Aviation CKAS MotionSim1 Flight Training Device, designed to simulate a G1000 Piper PA44 Seminole and a G1000 or analogue C172 provides students with a leading full-flight trainer/aircraft combination for basic training through to Multi-Engine Instrument Rating.
With every detail considered for a fully immersive experience the CKAS MotionSim 1has been installed in a purpose built sim room with blackened walls and red lights.

The key difference between the CKAS Motion Sim 1 and other units on the market, is “design intent”. The CKAS units have been engineered specifically to be used as “Simulators” – not “rides”.
This means that their washout algorithms, controller architecture, and mechanism design have all been refined to create the highest fidelity possible.
CKAS 6DOF motion platform units are still the only electric crank arm motion systems in the world which have been awarded “Full Flight Simulator” credits, and their academically developed washout cueing algorithms are the key to these awards.
AN EXPERIENCE LIKE NO OTHER
The instructor has control over the flight simulator environment such as weather, positioning, malfunctions, as well as real-time tracking, flight recording, replay and data analysis.
World-leading Lockheed Martin Prepar 3D visual software is used for the scenery generation, with proprietary software supporting the flight model, acoustic environment, motion system and enhancing the visuals.
