AVI50519 – DIPLOMA OF AVIATION
(INSTRUMENT RATING)
All White Star Aviation programs are designed with a balanced focus between knowledge, skills, values and experience, ensuring that graduates enter employment, industry ready, with strong skills and a thorough understanding of aviation quality, safety and environmental standards.
THEORY AND FLIGHT TRAINING
This course is studied after completion the AVI50219 Diploma of Aviation (Commercial Pilot Licence – Aeroplane), providing you with the aeronautical experience required for a career as a commercial pilot. All training delivered in our DA62, PA30 or BN2 aircraft.
This training is delivered by White Star Aviation on behalf of Aircrew Training and Support, RTO 45520.
The AVI50519 Diploma of Aviation (Instrument Rating) allows students to fly as pilot in command in a single or multi engine aircraft under the Instrument Flight Rules (IFR), in conditions that would make visual flying (VFR) impractical allowing the pilot to fly without reference to the ground. You will also be qualified to operate at night under the Night VFR. Instrument flying is a challenging, but hugely rewarding pursuit and once mastered, often becomes a pilot’s first preference over VFR flying operations.
